Biological manipulation. She can control all aspects of a living creature's biological make-up. This includes, but is not limited to, genetic alterations, physical distortion/augmentations, healing, disease, and biological functions. Of course, the more complicated the manipulation, the more danger there is of having it backfire on her, contorting her own genes. |
Amy was born in Manhattan to Michael and Catherine Keppler. The couple considered having another child, but with the both of them involved in law enforcement, they decided that they should give all of their time and love to one. Even though her parents were very busy and occasionally stressed, they made a point to distance their work from their daughter, acting like nothing was wrong. From a young age, Amy had the right intentions, but her short attention span always got in the way. While it ended up never hindering her grades or chores, the girl was a pretty big scatter-brain, constantly misplacing her belongings and forgetting important things that people had told her. During middle school, she made sure to develop a system where she would write down the things she needed to remember. It's stuck with her to this day, and miraculously, she forgets even less. After graduating high school, she entered Biology almost on a whim, and found that she was really interested, even though she initially wasn't very good at science. She graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's, and then decided that she wanted to put her major to good use in medicine, and also wanted to study abroad, so she headed to Hong Kong University. She's in her senior year and a resident at a nearby hospital. |
While Amy has all the right intentions, she can sometimes mess things up. She's very clumsy and scatter-brained, and as a result naturally makes some mistakes. Knowing this, you'd think that she wouldn't be a very good doctor, but when she truly focuses, she is very efficient and precise. She really enjoys being a doctor because she gets to meet and help people. She's known for tripping over nothing, dropping stacks of paper, and losing clipboards only to find them hours later, though she has yet to really fuck up something important. |
She has a babyface, looking much younger than she actually is. She looks a little childish, but she is quite responsible and mature. She stands at average height and has long, flowing hair. It changes colours from time to time, and really, no one notices too much. She always wears a headband and puts pink flowers in her hair, and always has a smile to go with it. |
